Blast from the Past

Back from the end of High School and the begining of college (2007-2009). This is super cynical and scary.  " do you know how it feels to be alone? to have no direction? to have all youve been good at life turn on you? how it is to be surrounded by walls? how it feels to lose control? how it is to continually fight with yourself? how it is to trip on your own lies? to not wanna see people?"

Now they want to take it!

Zero Tolerance

I remember one time my 4th grade teacher, Miss Duffy, was talking a bunch about a Zero Tolerance policy. I looked up Zero Tolerance on wikipedia: “Zero tolerance policies forbid people in positions of authority from exercising discretion or changing punishments to fit the circumstances subjectively; they are required to impose a predetermined punishment regardless of individual culpability, extenuating circumstances, or history.” This was after the tragic Columbine shooting in Colorado where two kids shot up their high school. Well, I was playing tag with this girl Ashley and I told her that I was going to kill her while playing tag and she told Miss Duffy. Ashley had warned me before doing so, almost taunting me. I knew what was coming and was sad all day. All I did was play a game with Ashley and yeah I went too far and I should not have told her what I said. Anyways, it was during 5th period after lunch that I was called down to the principal. I walked down and cried right in front ...
